The Entrepreneur Class is a course under Exploring Engineer Class, which all engineering students are required to take. In this class, students choose a topic they are interested in and form groups to work on projects.
In the year I attended, there was a special topic called Entrepreneur, which only accepted 10 students out of the entire student. I didn’t hesitate to apply. The selection process included an interview focused on entrepreneurial thinking, and I was selected as one of the 10 students to participate.
Each week, the class included workshops on topics such as Persona, Business Model Canvas, Marketing 4Ps, and finally, a project. The project required us to use the instructor’s technology to develop a product, plan sales, and study the market. At that time, my group consisted of three members, and we chose to develop a lip balm product under the brand ” Sunniv ”.
